As snow is becoming more common during our English winters, winter feels like it lasts forever and I feel invigorated from the arrival of Spring. The air is fresh, the sun is out, everything is much more colourful and everything generally feels more positive this time of year. Plus, it's so lovely to just go out and wander without scarves/coats/gloves.
This series of photographs was taken on our Mother's Day outing, and I just love all the colours. I think the combination of spring greens, yellows, purples and pinks are my favourite combination of colours.

Spring is a beautiful season. Not only because it brings a lot of beautiful flowers, but also it gives a feeling of something "new', fresh, like a new,fresh beginning.
