My slightly obsessive passion for photography has taken me on some wonderful adventures. Throughout my career so far I’ve delved into various areas of photography such as portraiture, live events and wildlife photography to name but a few. There have been some unbelievable and slightly absurd highlights – doing a shoot in an ice cream van, photographing Noel Gallagher and taking pictures of a jelly exhibition are some of my favourites – but now I have decided to focus on the area of photography that made me fall in love in the first place.
Above all, I love how photography can make the ordinary extraordinary; how it can find magic in the everyday. To me, that’s the true magic and power of photography. Although vast landscapes, stunning wildlife and buzzing live musicians are to die for, I believe the real test is finding the beauty in the everyday.
In my eyes this not only stands for photography, but life on the whole too. So that is why I do what I do – to find magic in the everyday.
